TICA & GCCF Registered Breeders of Maine Coons
Based in Essex, we specialise in raising Healthy Happy and well socialised Kittens, we believe Healthy Kittens starts with Healthy Queens.
All our Queens are tested for Maine Coon Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) via both genetic testing and Echocardiogram (Echo only possible once a Queen is 12 months old). They are genetically clear of Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKDef) Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). They are regularly tested for Feline leukemia virus (Felv) and Feline immunodeficiency virus (Fiv) and are treated and free from Parasites.
Colour wise we specialise in Blue Smokes, Black Smokes, Blue & Silver Tabbies and Black & Silver Tabbies and Shaded.

We fell in love with the Maine Coon breed, and after extensive research and studying, we were both shocked to find that less than 5% of all Cats are Pedigree!
Isn't it funny how, when someone tells you they have bought a new Dog, its natural to ask "What Breed?" but when someone tells you they bought a new Cat its natural to ask "What Colour" as the assumption is...they've bought a Moggie!
Well here at Mythos Maine Coons we are on a Mission, and that Mission is to increase that 5%, and what better way than with Maine Coons! They are the friendliest Cats, whom Chirp and Trill and not just Meow. They are one of the largest Domestic Cat Breed and just love being with their humans, cuddling up on a warm lap.
